The spreadsheet is one of the most common applications for electronics, computers, phones, and tablets. When I think of spreadsheets, I think of Excel. Excel is a Microsoft product and it has many comparable products from other companies like Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, and more. Excel has different features for specialized calculations and process in add-on or native to the application. When working with data, there are extra features for Excel that are from the integrated Power Platform.

What is Power?

Power is a group of applications and tools that provide business intelligence, coding, and integration features within the Windows environment. These can be accessed as their own unit or through applications like Excel. Excel has Power features included.

Using Features for Advanced Analysis

Power Pivot is different than Pivot by allowing for more types of sources for data, internal or external to the sheet. There are more ways to manipulate and display the data. The conventional Pivot does not link to other apps or have ability to join data models…
